Statement

At the core of Laura’s research through art is water. According to the artist, water takes on many metaphors for our patterns of thought and behavior. The river is her primary example showing how we flow around problems like the meander around a boulder. Her concern for stagnation in her own life and a deep desire to grow spiritually keeps her examining water patterns to express her own sensation of being in the flow of life.
