The Drawing Room Art Gallery is pleased to announce its upcoming summer exhibition schedule which includes its first Juried Emerging Artists Exhibition, alongside a second exhibit on view, “Summer Show: Gallery Artists”. Both exhibits will run June 6-September 12, 2015. To celebrate these two summer shows, The Drawing Room invites the greater public to attend the Opening Reception and meet the artists on Saturday, June 6, from 6-8 pm.

Emerging Artists 2015 highlights the work of 26 artists who are either recent graduates from BFA or MFA programs, or are currently enrolled art students at colleges and universities located in Connecticut, New York, Massachusetts, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Florida, South Dakota and beyond. These artists include Susan Bauer, Nathan Bentley, Anh Ta, Sarah Fabian, Matthew Farrell, Chloe Feldman Emison, Kate Fleming, Lindsay Gagnon, Henry Glavin, Keri Halloran, Benjamin Hoffman, Joanna Hoge, SaraNoa Mark, Krista Narciso, Julianne Nash, Annie Parham, Sara Pedigo, Kristen Peyton, Denise Philipbar, Alison Rice, Roy Rossow, Jordnnel Sainville, Kaitlin Santoro, Haechang Sun, Kamar Thoms and Trevor Thomas. Work in the exhibition include a range of media to include painting, drawing, photography, printmaking and mixed media assemblage. This is an exciting show which demonstrates the wide spectrum of interesting work being made by up and coming artists living in the United States.
